Pollen in the Emerald City + "Uhiki (Pinye's Remix)"

There is so much pollen in the air tonight, a beautiful sunny evening in the Emerald City, that I felt it caking up at the back of my throat as I plodded the backstretch of my run. I called out to a fellow runner, a young woman, as I passed, "Can you taste the pollen?" She smiled and gave me the stink-eye at the same time. She pulled out one ear bud and looked back once; and then she ran on. I don't think she understood what I was asking.
