Below is a scan of the first page after the credits from Daredevil: End of Days #1. The great Klaus Janson provides the pencils; Bill Sinkiewicz, the inks. The story, which is a mystery featuring intrepid Daily Bugle reporter Ben Urich trying to make sense of Bullseye's broad daylight slaughter of the Man Without Fear, is written by Brian Michael Bendis and David W. Mack.
It's been an excellent series so far. I'm looking forward to the final issue, which is due out next week. The last Daredevil title I read was Shadowland, and it was a disappointment. I enjoyed Black Panther: The Man Without Fear. And I've been accumulating issues of Daredevil (3rd Series) but have yet to dive in.

Two by Rick Remender: Captain America #2 + Secret Avengers #35
Rick Remender's imagination is rich, febrile. I was introduced to Remender by reading Punisher during the "Dark Reign" and "Franken-Castle" storylines. Remender has an edge. Now he's working on the radical, new Captain America run -- a Kirby homage set in the phantasmagoric Dimension Z. Check out this page from Captain America #2, penciled by John Romita Jr. and inked by Klaus Janson; it's obviously influenced by Cormac McCarthy's dystopian The Road. The scanned page that follows it is from Remender's Secret Avengers #35 where he's been exploring the idea of the domination of biological life by artificial life; the art is by Matteo Scalera.
