"Loretta's Scars"

By the time Sunday afternoon rolls around the approaching work week looms so large it blots out the sun.

France is manhandling Honduras this Sunday in Brazil. But an unexpected ray of light was hearing "Loretta Scar's" as I washed a sink of dirty dishes.

Pavement's Slanted and Enchanted (1992) is a lasting monument to the Grunge Age. It is a record that always sounds good whenever heard.

As the years wind on, I have always made sure to keep tabs on the production of Stephen Malkmus, though I have yet to hear his latest, Wig Out at Jagbags.
